Each practice day http://www.thechiefsfootballauthentic.com/laurent-duvernay-tardif-jersey-authentic , the Kansas City Chiefs will release an official injury report leading up to the next game. The Chiefs host the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday at Arrowhead StadiumHere is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:JaguarsSome notesDee Ford (groin) and Sammy Watkins (hamstring) both left Monday night’s game against the Denver Broncos early, so it was a pleasant surprise to see both players practicing on Wednesday. It has now been 53 days since safety Eric Berry practiced or played. Head coach Andy Reid on Berry Wednesday: “We’re literally just taking it day by day. He’s going through the rehab and doing that and doing actually better. Every day he’s been going here, he’s getting a little bit better. Let’s just see how it goes and one thing you know about Eric, you have no questions that he wants to be there and go. He’s trying everything he can to get himself out there. We’ll just take it day by day and keep doing that. We’ve got great communication with him and we know his desire to be there. We want him to be smart. We want to be smart with it. It’s a long season.”It’s probably smart to take Wednesday’s report on the practice cautiously, it being a 10-10-10 style practice (What’s that?) in which the Chiefs did not even wear helmets. From our in-house injury expert, Aaron Borgmann, via his official Twitter account: “Tough to gauge injured players status from this work. Will need to await more details as week ramps up from short turn. Hopefully a good sign of progress that most practiced.”Chiefs are fortunate that the Jaguars have already ruled out two players, running back Leonard Fournette and cornerback DJ Hayden, for Sunday. What we saw from Patrick Mahomes against the Chicago Bears Patrick Mahomes grabbed the league’s (and country’s) attention last week after his 69-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill.Whether or not he’d be able to make plays like that the standard was a question on people’s minds heading into the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears Saturday. So, how’d Mahomes do in Week 3? Let’s recap. Mahomes and the offense entered the game down 7-0 following a strong opening drive from the Chicago Bears, who were able to capitalize on a weak, unorganized Chiefs defense early. In his first play (11:16, Q1), Mahomes threw a short pass to Sammy Watkins for 15 yards, marking Watkins’ long overdue first catch of the preseason. That play was followed with a short right pass to Chris Conley for four yards. Mahomes and the offense wasted no time closing in on the Bears lead, getting points on the board after Mahomes read the blitz and quickly found a wide open Kareem Hunt on a swing route for a 19-yard touchdown to tie the game up at 7-7.First drive recap: 5 plays, 74 yards, 4:14To open the second drive, Mahomes and the offense took the field trailing 14-7 after a 29-yard touchdown pass from Chase Daniel to Kevin White (2:19) put Chicago ahead once again. Mahomes hit a pass deep right to Travis Kelce for 26 yards on his first play of the second drive and followed that up with a pass short left to Hill for four yards. With 1:25 remaining in the first quarter, Mahomes went 6 for 6 for 95 yards. In the final minute of the first quarter Youth Travis Kelce Jersey , Mahomes found Hill again, this time pushed outside back, at the Chicago 32 for 16 yards. Unable to connect and finish the quarter strong, Mahomes threw an incomplete pass short right. (15:00, Q2) Bears defensive blitz forces Mahomes to throw an incomplete pass short right to Watkins. Second drive recap: 7 plays, 49-yards, 2:26Kansas City couldn’t quite find the end zone to close out the second drive but cut the deficit with a 47-yard field goal by Butker — Bears 14, Chiefs 10. After two drives, Mahomes was 7 for 9 for 111, threw a touchdown and five of his seven passes picked up 10-plus yards for the Chiefs. No-69 yard bomb or anything relatively close to it, but an overall strong performance from the young quarterback that was free from sacks and turnovers. However, Mahomes didn’t see such success in the second quarter. He only added 14 yards and went only 50 percent (3 of 6) in passing. He finished the half 10 of 15 for 125 yards and a touchdown. Of his four incomplete passes, three were to Watkins. At the end of the half, Chicago led Kansas City, 21 to 10. Shaking off an average second quarter, Mahomes opened the half strong, going a perfect 8 for 8 for a majority of the third quarter in passing before throwing an incomplete pass short middle to Demarcus Robinson — his final play of the day before Chad Henne took the field. While Mahomes didn’t end his Week 3 performance quite like he did in Week 2, the numbers on his stat sheet were fairly promising. He completed 18 of 24 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown, as well as a 112.5 passer rating.
